Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Lead Manufacturing Engineer – Paint to join our highly skilled and dynamic Manufacturing Team.
This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Warwick or Bicester where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What's the opportunity
Reporting to the Manufacturing Process Manager, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing all aspects of paint application processes & development within our programmes and working effectively with our contract manufacturer through to implementation. You will ensure the highest quality standards are met whilst introducing new colours into production.
What you will do:
- Managing the paint development process across the programme, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality objectives
- Leading the development of new paint colours & application processes
- Managing budgetary and resource allocation for projects within scope of control
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with external partners and equipment vendors
- Defining, developing and managing validation of new colours & products within the paint shop including quality assessments & materials testing.
Who you are:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or relevant experience)
- Previous experience of paint development and application methods
- Previous experience of high-volume manufacturing
- A ‘can do’ attitude and are always focused on achieving great results
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders & drive towards a common goal
- A calm multitasker who successfully managed, prioritise and executes against deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
- A positive influence on those around you with a passion for creating an inclusive environment and fostering a culture of innovation
- Able to travel frequently
