What's the opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Programme Management, you will play a pivotal part in leading the change management activity between vehicle program teams and our contract manufacturing partner ensuring robust structured processes and standards are met.
What you will do:
- Collaborating closely with our manufacturing partner to develop, implement, and control a robust manufacturing change management process.
- Act as the first point of contact to ensure an aligned approach to all change requirements and associated implications.
- Overseeing the timing, cost, and quality impacts across the change management process, ensuring that changes are implemented efficiently and effectively without compromising on key deliverables.
- Maintaining and leading a robust Change Register, ensuring full content and cost traceability throughout the process whilst keeping accurate records of all changes and their associated impacts.
- Serving as the main conduit between vehicle Programme teams and our Contract Manufacturing partner, ensuring a holistic approach is undertaken for all Change introductions.
- Undertake regular site visits to the Contract Manufacturing facility to oversee operations, address any issues or concerns, and ensure that manufacturing processes align with standards and requirements.
Who you are:
- Proven track record in successfully managing automotive product launches, encompassing all stages from planning to execution
- Extensive experience in change management within automotive and manufacturing environments.
- Structured and organised approach and methodology with track record of process implementation and management
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and the cross functional considerations when introducing change
- A ‘can do’ attitude and are always focused on achieving great results
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders & drive towards a common goal
- A calm multitasker who successfully managed, prioritise and executes against deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
- A positive influence on those around you with a passion for creating an inclusive environment and fostering a culture of innovation
- Able to travel frequently
